HEMORRHOIDS NO MORE!

I have a few questions about hemorrhoids.?

I have had these lil bumps on my butt hole for a long time i have not seen a doctor for them i have never really had any problems out of them sept for every now and then i see a spot or two of blood on the paper but now when i go to the bathroom every time i have a bowl movement hard or soft i bleed really bad after
when i was little i remember bleeding from my butt and not telling any one because i was scarred but i was so young don’t even no y i did it could it have been hemorrhoids could this be more serious then i think it is
this is gross but i looked at my self in a mirror when i was bleeding really bad and i am pretty sure i seen the blood coming from the lump and it look like it was cut open

hi and i have just been through exactly what you are describing.
Is there pain after a motion with the bleeding and is the blood bright red in colour.
There are a few things it could be which is
1. Hemorrhoids
2. Anal fissure
or possibly both.
There is always a bit of blood and if it is above dont be scared ok.
If the blood is coming from the lump…my bet it is hemorrhoids and they can be so so painful.
I had the exact same thing with the bleeding with every bowel motion i had and a very sore swollen bottom and i though it was something like cancer and a very worryiing time.
My advice to you is to get it seen to which nowdays they will do a colonoscopy(view inside your bowels and lower intestine) through a little flexible tube with a thing at the end to view your bowel so cancer can be ruled out and if it is hemorrids and they are bad they will fix them for you whilst looking to make sure all is ok.
So tell you Doctor and they should refer you to have a colonoscopy and you wont feel a thing( i promise) they give you some medication to sedate you…its midazalam and another bit of medication to make you sleepy.
You should be taken in to a room and they will talk to you and give you the meds and have a great sleep for 20 mins or so and wake up and wonder wot all the fuss is about.
If they think the hemorroids are bad enough they will remove them…in my case they left them in and i have just upped my fibre intake to help things in that dept.
So definately discuss it with your doctor and its always better to make sure all bases are covered.
If they do decide to do the colonoscopy the worse part is the preparation which your given to clean your bowels out….not as much to drink as it used to be but tastes yukky but stay close to the loo from 20mins after you have drunk the prep and then a night of getting rid of it and more prep in the morning and off to have it done.
Most doctors will not muck round with a lot of bleeding,depending on where you live. Im in Australia.
Do tell your doctor and i so feel what your going through as i have just been through it myself.
Best of luck okay and dont leave it any longer and also bright red blood is actually a good sign as that means its not coming from your stomach…if its any other colour dont muck around ok.
